Early spring flower by Dee-ehn Early spring flower by Dee-ehn
I took this photograph during the first weekend of spring, this year. It was still quite cold (about 3 degrees centigrade)!

Very pretty, love how the center flower is a darker shade of pink than the others

This shot I like very much. Except for the out of focus edges of the large branch to the left. It seams bit unnatural. What lens did you use? Otherwise I love the focus and structure of all the flowers. :D

Thanks a lot!

I don't know how it could be that the branch was moving while the flowers where not. It was pretty cold that day and I remember a strong wind to. That would explain the moving branch, but, not how the flowers were kept in focus!

Anyhow.. I used (as almost always) the 18-200mm Nikkor (VRII) objective on this pic. This lens I take with me almost everywhere, as it can be used with so many different situations. It's an ideal travel mate :)

That's a nice lens. :) You don't list it in your profile though...

Yeah I should update that, indeed :)

Nice lens indeed.. well woth the money I'd say. Considering the huge range its flaws are quite acceptable.
