Artist's Comments

How do you like my waterfall? I tried to make it look a little articifial, as one of those waterfalls you often see on (Chinese) paintings.

Like the way the water looks all misty....long shutter speed im guessing? Definately looks kinda artifical, especially the water at the bottom (the 2 white "pools"). Nice pic

Thanx :)

Well I put the shutterspeed on 1/4 of a second. My hand was pretty steady at that time (I just had lunch:)) so I managed to get a good pic (I actually shot this one 4 times, the other 3 were utter crap). Of course, I had to correct the colors a bit, as a 1/4sec shutter made the picture way too bright. Photoshop helped me there ;)

1/8 is my max as well, but sometimes I manage to get a nice pic on 1/4 or even better (I once shot quite a nice pic at 1sec.... I'm still proud of that one; no I not gonna post it as the subject is as dull as it can be :p)

I used a 1/4 shutter speed. Yes, that is somewhat slow, but that gained me the effect I was trying to get, without making the picture go out of focus...

Thanx for commenting. I love nice comments :D

There was already a kind of greenish light in that place, so I enhanced that a bit; I guess it worked out well... I like it as well :)
